A Letter From Our Pastor

Greetings & blessings to you all,

Who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”  He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning, and the End.” Revelation 21: 5

As summer falls upon us, we are reminded of the hard work and challenges we have     overcome these past few months. But let us look forward to the new opportunities, and adjustments that we must make for a better future not only in our lives but also within our ministry.

On April 23 – May 3, 2024, The United Methodist General Conference met. And with the spirit of God and delegates from around the world, they set new directions for the mission of the church in the coming years. Bishop Dottie Escobedo-Frank, Resident Bishop of       Cal-Pac Annual Conference shared “The spirit of General Conference was respectful, loving, and an outward expression of what holy conferencing is all about. From the very start, we could sense that the spirit of the Lord was in the house! The delegates did their good work before they arrived and during the two weeks in Charlotte. They brought forward         legislation that will form our next expression of The United Methodist Church.” For more information on the General Conference, please refer to page 4-5 or simply reach out and I will do my best to offer help moving forward.

I am personally inviting all our mother figures to please join us on May 12th for our     Mother’s Day service. The children will present a special tribute to all Mothers and Women of our Parish. The following Sunday (May 19th) is Pentecost or as I like to call it, the Church birthday. Be sure to wear red & help us celebrate the Holy Spirit. On Sunday June 02, we will be acknowledging our graduates. Sunday, June 16, is Father’s Sunday.

Let our faith in the One who provides abundantly towards all our needs, take us further in trust.
