Dear Beloved Church,

Christ is Risen! He is risen indeed!

May the Greeting and Peace of God be with you during this most significant week in the Christian Calendar – Holy week leading to Easter Sunday. This year provides us another special opportunity to celebrate together the Good News of Jesus Christ, consciously bringing to remembrance all that our good Lord has done and together we proclaim - “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In God’s great mercy, we have been given a new birth of Jesus Christ from the dead ..” [1 Peter 1:3]

During Holy Week, March 24th through March 31st, we will celebrate the finest moments of Jesus' ministry. From a distance, it looked like a disaster: Jesus had been arrested, and one of His own disciples had betrayed Him. Fear filled their lives with uncertainty. Jesus was beaten, crucified and died. All the hopes, dreams and promises - gone. And then, on the third day, Jesus rose from the dead and the celebration began!

In every recording of the Gospel, the end message is the same - sins are forgiven, there is victory over death, He is risen - He is risen indeed! Jesus is Lord! With this glorious revelation, Jesus issues the command to go and tell the whole world the Good News! And so, we respond…

I invite you to participate in our Easter activities - Passion/Palm Sunday procession this Sunday, the Maundy Thursday service at Grace at 6:00 pm, and Sunrise service at Moreno on Easter morning at 6:30 am. and celebrate His glorious resurrection from the tomb.

I pray this Easter will be a time when God’s grace and goodness may be more fully manifested in your life and the lives of all whom you serve.

May the abiding love of the Risen Christ shine in our hearts, and transform the whole world in joy.

Happy Easter!
